Doug Salter

Doug joined his family’s agency in 2007. As a retired Delaware State Trooper, Doug created New Castle Insurance’s “niche” of insuring, not only our first responders, but many other Non-Profit Organizations in Delaware and surrounding states. Doug spent ten years expanding the fire company book with VFIS. In 2014, New Castle Insurance became one of the nation’s fourteen Regional Directors of VFIS. VFIS is the largest insurance provider in the U.S. for emergency service organizations.

Kristin Scholl

Kristin has worked for NCI for 10 years as an agent licensed in both Property & Casualty Insurance as well as Health & Life Insurance. After working closely on the VFIS policies as an Account Executive, in 2017 Kristin took over the entire Division of VFIS Mid-Atlantic. Kristin understands that fire companies may need support beyond that of your everyday insurance agent. Her attention to detail, knowledge on the local fire service, and years of insurance experience has helped to ensure our state’s Emergency Service Organizations are covered with policies tailored to their company’s needs.

Allie Salter

After graduating from the University of Alabama, Allie returned home and obtained her Property & Casualty insurance license. She oversees any and all fire company claims as well as underwriting communications for each ESO account.

Monica Gallagher

As a licensed Health & Life agent, Monica handles not only our group health policies for our commercial clients but all employee benefits for our fire companies. Employee benefits we offer our firefighters include accident and sickness, accidental death and dismemberment, group term life, and cancer coverage.
